It's been about 20 years since Tom decided to leave Germany to forget Anne, the love of his life who was taken from him by his older brother Kai. Hurt and disappointed, the young man cut all contact with his family and emigrated to Malaysia, where he works as a diving instructor at the Ocean Turtle Resort, the luxury tourist village owned by Peter Gruber, an old family friend.
