For helicopter pilot Tom Jäger, it is initially an assignment like any other: He is to fly Marie Niklas, a young PR employee at the energy company Global Senergy, to the Wilhelmsand drilling platform. Marie wants to prepare an event there with which Global Senergy wants to celebrate the start of a new line of business: CO² sequestration in pumped-out gas fields in the North Sea. In times of climate change, this is a prestigious, future-oriented and financially extremely lucrative business.
