The expatriate and widower Ben Logan has moved from New York to Antwerp with his estranged teenage daughter Amy Logan, rarely seen in past fourteen years. Ben accepts a job in the subsidiary of a multinational company specializing in security systems. His job is to identify defects so that the company will improve its technologies. At least that is what Ben believes, not knowing that he is at the center of a huge international conspiracy.
